CoActive Arts charity spent their second day of a sea themed creative holiday camp exploring Wakefield Trinity Wildcats as their ship made a temporary trip to the site on Doncaster Road in Agbrigg and Belle vue.
One of the five ways to wellbeing is to Keep Learning and there were plenty of new experiences to learn from in the second day of An Ocean Adventure (funded by Wakefield Council’s Culture Cures).
The young participants were treated to an air house and immersive drama experience in the suite which overlooked the rugby ground.
Everyone learnt new songs to sing, played games and they discovered more about the Coral reef as they were introduced to a new character called Shelley.
Most of the learning was through play (such as parachute games), arts and crafts (making fish puppets) and drama.
A lot of the young people hadn’t been inside the stadium before and enjoyed seeing the space as well as giving all the creative activities a new home for the day.
A huge thanks to Wakefield Wildcats for opening up their home to us!
